What's most important to you?

Good Morning Luvs!! It's the start of a new week, as I was reflecting on this I starting to think about how it is so important to think about and plan for our priorities. So what about you? What is most important to you? Do you take time to think about your spouse and what ways you can make them feel loved today? Or do you tend to think, well (hubby or wife) knows that I love them because.... Consider that while you may think your spouse is fully aware of the love you have for them isn't it nice to feel loved every so often, or even daily. Many times we get so caught up in our day to day living that we tend to forget to stop for a moment and think about what keeps our marriages fresh or what very small thing we can do for our spouse that would really let them know that we love and appreciate them. If your Marriage is struggling or maybe you have simply hit some bumps in the road on this incredible journey of Love. Begin to pray that the Lord would start to reveal some things about yourself that could use some improvement. Now, what a minute I know what you are thinking....there is nothing wrong with me, it is (hubby or wife) that has the problem...he/she always does...and if he/she didn't do this we would be just fine. I know I have been there and I have thought that the Lord needed to do a might work on my Husband instead of me, however, when you start to seek God and ask him to show you the real you, you might find that yes you do have things to work on. Everyone of us has bad habits and hang ups, no one is perfect, if we were we wouldn't need Jesus and we SO NEED JESUS!!! So, yes your spouse may have habits and hang ups that drive you absolutely insane, but that is not the point. Your goal is to seek God and ask Him to help you with the way you respond to your spouse in spite of their failures. Easier said than done you might say...but I promise you if you will seek the Lord and put His will before yours I promise He will not let you down and I promise you will see a difference in your marriage. It may even get a little harder before it gets better, but when you seek the ways of The Lord His Grace flows and it is never ending. Be blessed today Luvs, and let me hear from you, leave a comment or send me an email: helping2changelives@gmail.com Simply live 4 Him, Samantha
