What's most important to you?

Good Morning Luvs!! It's the start of a new week, as I was reflecting on this I starting to think about how it is so important to think about and plan for our priorities. So what about you? What is most important to you? Do you take time to think about your spouse and what ways you can make them feel loved today? Or do you tend to think, well (hubby or wife) knows that I love them because.... Consider that while you may think your spouse is fully aware of the love you have for them isn't it nice to feel loved every so often, or even daily. Many times we get so caught up in our day to day living that we tend to forget to stop for a moment and think about what keeps our marriages fresh or what very small thing we can do for our spouse that would really let them know that we love and appreciate them. If your Marriage is struggling or maybe you have simply hit some bumps in the road on this incredible journey of Love. Begin to pray that the Lord would start to reveal some things about yourself that could use some improvement. Now, what a minute I know what you are thinking....there is nothing wrong with me, it is (hubby or wife) that has the problem...he/she always does...and if he/she didn't do this we would be just fine. I know I have been there and I have thought that the Lord needed to do a might work on my Husband instead of me, however, when you start to seek God and ask him to show you the real you, you might find that yes you do have things to work on. Everyone of us has bad habits and hang ups, no one is perfect, if we were we wouldn't need Jesus and we SO NEED JESUS!!! So, yes your spouse may have habits and hang ups that drive you absolutely insane, but that is not the point. Your goal is to seek God and ask Him to help you with the way you respond to your spouse in spite of their failures. Easier said than done you might say...but I promise you if you will seek the Lord and put His will before yours I promise He will not let you down and I promise you will see a difference in your marriage. It may even get a little harder before it gets better, but when you seek the ways of The Lord His Grace flows and it is never ending. Be blessed today Luvs, and let me hear from you, leave a comment or send me an email: helping2changelives@gmail.com Simply live 4 Him, Samantha

Are you in it?

Are you a SAHM. Are you intentionally present with your children or are you just getting through the day? This job as a stay at home wife and mother...can be well, not so easy. Although when you are on the outside looking in, you think, wow, how hard can her job be....Her husband goes to work and provides a living, all she has to do is stay at home and take care of the kids, cook, and clean. When the people of your household rely on you for their every need, when the baby cries, the toddler screams, the phone rings, the dog is chasing the cat, the 11 year old would rather watch caterpillars crawl by, than do their homework, the 16 year old wants to know where his shirt is, the 18 year old is walking out the door, bye Mom.. and when you answer the phone and Hubby's on the line saying, I'm on my way home Honey.....ah...yes...there is nothing easy about it....except....Grace. The Grace that flows from the Father above will supply Mommy with all her needs...when you're in the mist of it...it's sometimes hard to remember that. To remember that all of life is meant to be dependent on God, that he is a ever present help in our trouble (need). Just call out to him, "Jesus, I need you now, please help me". It is important for a Mom to begin her day with a cry out to God for his help, because we are human and to go it alone is nearly impossible. Sure she can probably get through the day without a cry out for help, but the day is easier when she focuses on God first. If you do not have a morning routine to spend time with God, consider stopping by goodmorninggirls.org and sign up for their free online bible study (yes it's FREE!!) I'm doing the current study myself and have participated in previous studies. They have all been wonderful, but the current "Anything" study has really been a tremendous blessing!! Enjoy my Luvs!!

Vinegar and water, yep that's right as simple as that. Let me show you what it did........I used 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water, in a spray bottle. This is also great for cleaning. Homemade Laundry Detergent

Ok, so lets get started with some money saving tips....Yay, Right??? Make your own laundry detergent!!! Now I have been doing this for quite sometime and it has saved me loads of money!! Who doesn't love saving money?? The original recipe came from Pinterest, I think, but I have tweaked it a bit to my own liking, so the idea is not originally mine and I'm not trying to take credit for it, just wanting to pass some money saving tips on to you guys. The recipe is very simple ;) and easy to do.. you will need the following: 3 TBS Borax 3 TBS Washing Soda 3 TBS Baking Soda 3 TBS Dishwashing Liquid 1 Large 150 Fluid Oz. Bottle Approx. 4 cups heated water (doesn't have to be boiling just very, very hot) Combine all ingredients and pour in the hot water, do this slowly as to prevent suds. Mix well with a large spoon, (I use a wooden spoon). Once mixed well, pour mixture into your bottle and then gently add warm water again trying to prevent suds, until almost full. Place lid on the bottle and give it a good shake. There you have it, homemade just as good or even better (in my opinion) than the store bought stuff (you know what is in it)... Enjoy my luvs!!! P.S. It is wonderful to have these supplies on hand (they last foreverrrr) any time we are running low I just throw the water on the stove and make more...Simple as that....Have a great day...and Simply Live 4 Him!!!
